Shipbuilding: MS Albertina

The MS Albertina serves as a key demonstration of RisedayTech’s end-to-end expertise in shipbuilding, system integration and vessel maintenance. It highlights our capability to manage every technical discipline required in the construction, outfitting and long-term operation of complex ships.

We were responsible for the full realisation of the vessel, beginning with the steel hull built by Lodenice Komárno, Slovakia, effectively revitalising the local shipyard’s production line and continuing through all stages of technological outfitting. Our in-house multi-engineering team handled every aspect of the project – from design and system integration to commissioning and certification with our suppliers. The ship was constructed under ES TRIN regulation, qualifying it for unrestricted navigation across the European inland waterway network from Amsterdam to the Black Sea.

This project demonstrates our capability to follow european standards in inland river cruise building business.

Our team covered also all core ship systems and disciplines:

  • Electrical and automation systems, from cabling to navigation and fire alarms
  • Piping and vacuum systems, wastewater treatment and HVAC installation
  • Interior joinery and custom furniture, including complex rounded and bespoke elements

Albertina is a prototype vessel built entirely from original design. The lower deck includes a 30m restaurant area. This is a structural innovation achieved through custom double-wall hull sections to overcome conventional watertight limits. This reflects our ability to find creative, safe and certifiable solutions to unique design challenges.

All control and electronic systems were implemented by RisedayTech specialists and our certified partners, either from supplied documentation or developed internally. Our engineers also handled the technical outfitting and integration of third-party components, ensuring seamless cooperation between mechanical, electrical and automation systems.

Beyond new builds, the same expertise applies to engineering projects, refits, and complete system maintenance. We provide reliable service and upgrades for electrical networks, automation systems, HVAC units, piping, vacuum and wastewater systems, as well as refurbishment and interior works.

Beyond new builds, the same expertise extends to engineering projects, refits, and comprehensive system maintenance. We provide reliable service and upgrades for electrical networks, automation systems, HVAC units, piping, and vacuum and wastewater systems, as well as refurbishment and interior works. Our portfolio also includes projects involving CAT engines and specialized solutions delivered in cooperation with Miele Professional Services.

With MS Albertina as a reference, RisedayTech demonstrates its capability to deliver and maintain vessels of any complexity, from initial design through long-term operation, providing clients with a single trusted partner for all ship systems. As the key technical management provider, we coordinate a robust ecosystem of suppliers and other certified partners, ensuring seamless integration and reliable performance across the entire vessel lifecycle.
