Within less than two months, in our facilities in Komarno, we transformed the vessel Prinzessin Isabella into DCS Amethyst 1 through a comprehensive interior renovation combined with a complete rebranding.
The project included the redesign and refurbishment of three passenger decks, as well as all major public areas including the reception, corridors, bar, and restaurant.
Achieving this within such a limited timeframe required exceptionally close cooperation between the interior designer and our team, as the vessel has a large capacity of 172 passengers, demanding meticulous planning to ensure efficiency and quality.
Significant upgrades included a full modernization that advanced the vessel’s interior by approximately 20 years, introducing a new level of comfort, seating quality, and overall ambiance. In addition, the renovation addressed technical improvements such as insulation repairs, thorough cleaning, and renovation of the air conditioning and ventilation systems to enhance onboard air quality and passenger comfort.
The renovation was carried out in parallel with essential technical repairs and maintenance tasks, without compromising either schedule or quality. The result was a vessel relaunched with a distinct new identity and significantly enhanced passenger spaces, delivering a fresh level of comfort and atmosphere well beyond its previous state and providing the client with a revitalized vessel ready for the new season.
