As part of the winter maintenance program, we carried out the complete exterior rebranding of the vessel Prinzessin Isabella, which was renamed to DCS Amethyst 1.
The process involved the full stripping of the old paint layers and the application of a new coat of paint in the updated corporate colours. This included specialized coatings for more than 1 000 m² of the vessel’s exterior surfaces, including the underwater hull, which required the use of a special type of antifouling paint designed for durability and resistance to aquatic growth. Careful planning and execution allowed us to complete the works within a tight timeframe, ensuring that the vessel was ready for the upcoming season.
In less than two months and alongside other essential works and repairs, we also completed a full renovation of the public areas, including the reception, corridors, bar and restaurant. The result was not only a modernized exterior that fully reflected the client’s brand identity while meeting the highest technical standards for durability and finish, but also an entirely new level of interior quality compared to the vessel’s previous state.
